To be truthful I don't really like to write about a film that I've seen if it doesn't captivate me in some way or the other...Don't get me wrong- the precise reason I am writing something about 'Sarkar Raj' is because it is so disengaging that I thought I better warn people from watching it.
The story line fails to stay together, dialogues are written thinking audience would appreciate the half said and half explained lines all the time... To communicate a difficult scene such a technique would be fine but to do it all through out the movie is asking the audience to close their mind and heart for the movie. Same is true with the over indulgent camera angles...extreme close ups and pan to pan cuts are sure in, but not so many that it gives a practically unbearable headache.
Ram Gopal Varma fails to realize how much 'good' should be packed together- and I wont pardon him to have screwed up the 'Govinda' track's impact by repeating almost all through the movie...
Bad is what I say...
